Ingredients
  

  • 1 cup 125g all-purpose flour
  • 1/3 cup 75g sugar
  • 1/2 cup 115g unsalted butter, softened
  • 1/2 tsp 3g vanilla extract
  • 8 oz 225g cream cheese, softened
  • 1/4 cup 50g sugar
  • 1 egg
  • 1/2 cup 75g blueberries

Instructions
 

  • Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C) and grease a 9x9-inch baking pan.
  • In a mixing bowl, combine the flour, sugar, butter, and vanilla extract until crumbly. Press this mixture into the bottom of the prepared pan.
  • In another bowl, beat the cream cheese, sugar, and egg until smooth. Spread this mixture over the crust.
  • Sprinkle the blueberries evenly over the cream cheese layer.
  • Bake in the preheated oven for about 25-30 minutes, or until the edges are lightly golden.
  • Allow the bars to cool completely before cutting into squares.

For a twist, try using raspberries or blackberries instead of blueberries for a different flavor profile.
