Ingredients

  • 2 pounds sirloin steak cut into 1 1/4 inch pieces
  • 2 bell peppers cut into 1 1/4 inch pieces
  • 1 red onion cut into 1 1/4 inch pieces
  • 1 zucchini sliced
  • Olive oil
  • Salt & pepper

For the Marinade:

  • 1/4 cup olive oil
  • 1/4 cup soy sauce
  • 3 cloves garlic minced
  • 3 tablespoons Worcestershire sauce
  • 2 tablespoons lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons red wine vinegar
  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon fresh ground pepper

Instructions

  • Soak wooden skewers in water for at least 30 minutes, or overnight for best results.
  • Place the cut sirloin steak in a gallon-sized Zip-loc bag.
  • In a bowl, mix all marinade ingredients. Pour the marinade over the beef in the bag. Seal the bag, removing excess air. Marinate in the fridge for 3-6 hours.
  • Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (450-500°F).
  • Prepare the vegetables by cutting them into 1 1/4 inch pieces. Drizzle with olive oil, sprinkle with salt and fresh ground pepper, and toss to coat evenly.
  • Thread the marinated steak and vegetables onto the skewers, discarding any leftover marinade.
  • Grill the kabobs for 3-4 minutes per side (all 4 sides) for a medium-rare to medium doneness.

Notes

Notes:
For added flavor, you can brush the kabobs with extra marinade while grilling.
